What is MCCC Discovery Search?

• search box on the library's main page
• searches several MCCC databases for books, e-books, DVDs, articles, etc. simultaneously
• provides links to online items;  the call number for physical items
• article search includes only a selection of database results

Navigate the Search Results

Results from a variety of different databases/sources are integrated together

Use the Group and refine This Search menu to limit search results as needed

• Format
• Content Type
• Publication Year

Enter your terms in the Discovery Search Box, click on SEARCH

• Enter search terms

  • Keyword

  • Author

  • Title

  • Subject

• Use Boolean operators as needed

  • AND--to narrow a search

  • OR--for synonyms

  • NOT--to exclude term
