• A DISCIPLINE is specific area of study with standards & methods such as math, psychology, medicine, etc.

• Your TOPIC can span many DISCIPLINES--find all relevant materials by searching the MCCC Library web site

Limit to books or e-books with the facets--use portions or all of a book for information

• Use the Table of Contents and Index to locate relevant chapters and/or portions of a book

• Realize that each book or e-book has a unique editorial point of view

• You may need several books or e-books for a research project

Use Boolean operators if needed

Note availability and call number

Also note format of print or electronic

Limit results with facets in left frame if desired

• Books or e-books

• Years of publication

SAVE individual items using the button above the title

• Print the SAVED ITEMS as needed
